'Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit.'
- New Scientist vol. 136 issue 1845

Most people think it is difficult to stop smoking because of the physical addiction to nicotine, it may surprise you to learn that once you stop smoking the nicotine leaves your body within 48 hours. The real difficulty with giving up smoking and remaining a non-smoker is the emotional attachment to smoking and the habit.
Deciding to give up smoking may make you feel unsettled or even afraid even though you know it is the best thing to do. Smoking becomes more than a habit to people, it can be a crutch, a friend, a treat and many other things. Attached to each of “smoking’s” roles there are emotions and patterns which make it hard to give up and remain a non-smoker.
Hypnotherapy is a powerful way to quit smoking because it can really help to address those feelings and patterns, encouraging your mind to let that habit go much more easily whilst helping it to think differently about smoking and changing unhealthy habits to healthy ones.
